MORGANTOWN — Andrew Warwick was one of the quieter staff changes for West Virginia football this offseason. PHILIPPI — The Philip Barbour Colts opened their season with a 30-29 victory over the Grafton Bearcats in the last play of the game on the leg of sophomore kicker Ayden Thorne. The Mountaineers are expected to name Oklahoma transfer redshirt sophomore Michael Hawkins Jr. its starting quarterback, per On3's Pete Nakos.
