Elkins High Basketball Skills Sessions slated

ELKINS — The Elkins High School Basketball Skills Sessions will get underway June 1 at Richard P. Simmons Memorial Gymnasium. Dates for the sessions include June 1, June 3, June 8, June 10, June 15 and June 17 for third through eight-graders an from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on those dates. One or multiple sessions are available at a cost of $20 per session or $100 for all six sessions. Elkins High School boys basketball coach Amrit Rayfield will serve as camp director. MILL CREEK — Third-seed Pendleton County secured a state tournament berth with a 4-3 win over second-seed Tygarts Valley in eight innings Monday night in Class A, Region II action.
