MORGANTOWN (AP) — Big 12 defensive player of the year Jevon Carter of West Virginia has declared for the NBA draft but will not sign with an agent. West Virginia announced Carter’s intentions Monday. The guard has until May 24 to decide whether to remain in the draft or withdraw and return to West Virginia for his senior season. “Jevon will go through the process in a systematic and professional manner by exploring the situation and leaving open his option to come back for his senior season,” West Virginia coach Bob Huggins said.
