Book Review: A fingerprint expert obsessed with learning the fate of her missing sister
(AP) — Shaw Connolly is obsessed with learning the fate of her sister, who disappeared 16 years ago. She still distributes posters and searches the woods with a cadaver dog. Her obsession has driven her husband away and is taking a toll on her children. Meanwhile, a stranger is obsessed with Shaw, repeatedly calling her with details that hint that he was involved in the disappearance. AP reviewer Bruce DeSilva says Gillian French’s well-written novel, “Shaw Connolly Lives To Tell,” is emotionally wrenching.
