ROANOKE — Luca Collier earned low-medalist honors as Elkins claimed a triangular match Wednesday at Stonewall Resort.

The Tigers finished with a team-score 177, followed by Gilmer County (189) and host Lewis County (200).

Collier carded a 39, with Lewis County’s Joseph Davisson (42) placing second.

Kendrick Smith added a 43, followed by Dreyton Boggs (45), Lincoln Fletcher (50) and Isaac Shepler (56) for Elkins.

Grayson Hoffman chipped in a 49 for the Minutemen.

“Luca played well in earning low medalist,” Tigers coach Dave Baird said. “The players are starting to figure things out and hopefully we start all playing well together as the season continues.”

Elkins will host Buckhannon-Upshur and East Fairmont at 4 p.m. Monday for a Big 10 Conference triangular match.
