For crying out loud! For all who choose to pursue their dreams, America is the greatest land of opportunity on the planet. Anything else is a lie! It is time for everyone to do their part and challenge the lies and calls to violence that are at the heart of the Black Lives Matter movement. America must treat BLM as a terrorist entity. I have a radio service that comes with most if not all new cars and decided to turn the dial over one spot from the Patriot Channel just to see what the other side was up to. Past commander objects to city decision

Due to the city removing the handicapped parking sites in front of American Legion Post 29, I am compelled to write against this decision. The city cites it is a safety issue and they do not want any parking on Railroad Avenue. But apparently it is OK to leave two large marked “Bus Parking Only” locations with signs near the railroad depot. In addition there are several parking spots directly in front of the depot across Railroad Avenue adjacent to Davis Trust Company parking area. In response to the article in The Inter-Mountain on Aug. 14, ‘Business groups offer comments on Noise Petition,’ the Elkins Make It Quiet (EMIQ) group noted that the Randolph County Chamber of Commerce, the Randolph County Development Authority and Elkins Main Street made similar comment in their letters: “Hamer is a vital employer, they recycle tons of sawdust, and they should be supported as a business.” Elkins Make It Quiet agrees with all these points. Reader senses despair across the country

I sense the despair in the Black Lives Matter protests about the police action against our neighbors because of their skin and how I escape such discrimination because of my skin. It is our country’s despair. I feel the despair of having a president that ratchets up every day his grasp for authoritarian power. He is destroying our post office because he is afraid of our votes.
