Randolph Technical Center (RTC) and Elkins High School (EHS) partnered to host College & Career Tech Day on Wednesday, Dec. 3, at Elkins High School. The event brought together students, families, and representatives from 26 colleges, universities, and technical institutions.

Running from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., the event featured informational sessions in the morning, followed by a college and career fair in the afternoon.

Students had the opportunity to explore a wide range of postsecondary options, ask questions, and gather information about programs, training opportunities, and career pathways available after high school.

More than 35 institutions were originally scheduled to attend; organizers noted that those unable to participate missed a valuable opportunity to connect with local students.

RTC SkillsUSA members, dressed in their signature red jackets, helped ensure the day ran smoothly by welcoming guests, assisting representatives, and supporting event logistics.
