Plea entered in burglary, assault case

ELKINS — A Randolph County man accused of breaking into a house and holding a knife to a resident’s throat entered into a plea agreement in Randolph County Circuit Court. Jakob Joshua Plumley, 24, of Elkins, entered into a plea agreement on May 18, pleading guilty to one count of burglary, and one count of malicious assault, both felonies. In October, Plumley was initially indicted by the Randolph County Grand Jury on one count of burglary, one count of malicious assault and one count of destruction of property, a misdemeanor.
