Barbour to dismiss schools early due to potential flooding

PHILIPPI - Due to weather conditions and the potential for flooding in parts of the county, Barbour County Schools will dismiss two hours early today, officials said. "The safety of students and staff remains the top priority at Barbour County Schools. Randolph County schools to dismiss two hours early

ELKINS - Randolph County Schools will be dismissing school two hours early today due to potential flooding and high water. The announcement was made at 11:25 a.m. on the school district's Facebook page. The Randolph County Office of Emergency Management announced at 11 a.m. today that Old Route 219 (Parsons Road) in the Montrose area of the county is currently closed due to high water.
