David ‘Moon’ Earl Ware

David “Moon” Earl Ware, 65, a resident of Montrose, passed from this life on Thursday, Aug. 24, 2023, in Memorial Hospital in Savannah, Georgia, as a result of injuries sustained in an accident.
Moon was born Monday, May 19, 1958, in Manatee County, Florida, and grew up in Buford, South Carolina.
On Nov. 21, 2015, he was married to Theresa Cottrell, who survives.
Also left to cherish Moon’s memory is one daughter, with whom he was visiting at the time of his accident, Lori Ware of Rincon, Georgia; three grandchildren, Joanna, Jerry and Lelah; a half sister, Jean Sinclair of Florida; and several friends.
Moon attended the schools of Buford, South Carolina, and served in the United States Navy. He had worked as a mechanic at Cotton Tire Company and more recently was building gates with Ricottilli Lumber Company. He enjoyed playing the piano and working on his “motor bike.”
Moon’s request for cremation was honored.
