Phyllis Ann Mace

MACE

Phyllis Ann Mace, 73, a resident of the Faulkner Community, Bowden, West Virginia, passed away Sunday, July 21,2024.

She was born March 26, 1951, at Elkins, a daughter of the late Loyal and Eva Auvil Hartman.

On Nov. 17, 1979, at the Otterbein United Methodist Church in Elkins, she was married to Paul Mace, who survives.

Also surviving is one son, Taylor Nicholas Mace of Elkins; one daughter, Charity Lee Lulas and husband, David, of North Collins, New York; a brother, Charles Hartman of Belton, Missouri; and her grandchildren, Victor David Lulas and Stella Ann Lulas.

Phyllis was the secretary for the director at the Appalachian Mental Health Center at Elkins for many years until her retirement. She was an avid bowler in her earlier years and loved to work outside in her garden and spending time with her family. Phyllis was a Methodist by faith.

Friends may call from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m., Friday, July 26, 2024, at the Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 27, 2024, from the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Robert Yothers Jr. officiating.

Interment will follow in the Elkins Memorial Gardens on the Country Club Road.
