Ottis Louk, 82, a resident of Huttonsville, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at home.
He was born on Saturday, Dec. 5, 1942, a son of Minnie Louk.
Left to cherish his memory are two sisters, Emily Martin of Mill Creek and Sandy Hoover of Huttonsville; five children, Ottis Junior Louk of Jacksonville Florida, Barbara Ellen Louk of Huttonsville, Sharon Diane Sirmans of Ray City, Georgia, Donald Lee Louk and wife, Tiffany, of Huttonsville and Jeffrey Paul Louk and wife, Nicole, of Dailey; as well as many other grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were four sisters that he loved with all of his heart, Goldie Day, Francis Blankenship, Victoria Louk and Barbara Wegman.
Ottis was a member of the UMWA and was employed by Bethlehem Steel Coal Company, where he retired. He excelled in many things, including carpentry, plumbin, and was a very talented electrician. Ottis also loved to build computers from the ground up as a hobby and was an electronic enthusiast and enjoyed white tail deer hunting.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at the Randolph Funeral Home from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m., the funeral hour.
Pastor Tim Turner will officiate and interment will follow at Brick Church Cemetery in Huttonsville.
