Elizabeth Doris ‘Betty’ Tootill Taylor

Betty was born Wednesday, January 28, 1948, in Baltimore, Maryland, a daughter of the late William Louis Tottill Sr. and Doris Elizabeth Moorehead. On Nov. 14, 1964, in Mill Creek, she was married to William Leon “Bill” Taylor, who preceded her in death on March 24, 2015.

Left to cherish Betty’s memory is her son, Raymond Joseph Taylor and wife, Brandy, of North Carolina; three brothers, William Tootill Jr., John Tootill and Raymond Tootill; one sister, Doris Stiverson; six grandchildren, Raymond “Buzz”, Robert, Dante, Adian Rain, Nathaniel and McKenzie; six great-grandchildren, Taylen, Anna, Emma, Brantley, Layken and Kimber; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding Betty in death besides her parents and husband, was one great granddaughter, Kennedy; and two brothers, Leonard Tootill and Harry Tootill.

Betty attended the schools of Baltimore and had worked as the head dietary cook at Autumn Lake Healthcare at Crystal Springs formerly Nella’s Nursing Home.

She loved spending time at the beach, but her real joy was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Randolph Funeral Home on Thursday from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Funeral Services will be held from the funeral home chapel on Friday, Nov. 7, 2025, 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Beverly Cemetery.
