Elaine Pizzoferrato Ware, 92, a resident of Elkins, West Virginia, departed this life Sunday morning, Feb. 2, 2025, at the Elkins Rehabilitation & Care Center. She had been in declining health for the past year. She was born Thursday, May 12, 1932, at Norton, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Nicola and Rosa Antonia Polce Pizzoferrato. She was married to Ronald Ware, who preceded her in death in 1996. Shelvie Jean Varner Mullenax, 87, a resident of the Holly Meadows Community, Parsons, West Virginia, and for the past several years a resident of Cortland Acres at Thomas, West Virginia, departed this life Friday evening, Jan. 31, 2025, at Cortland Acres.
