Maxine Gilmore of the Highland Park Community passed away Saturday, Sept. 30, 2023, at her home following a short illness. Death was attributed to a stroke. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 5, 2023, at the Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday with Pastor Charles Madaus officiating. Interment will follow in the American Legion’s Little Arlington Cemetery in Elkins.
