WVU’s Lumsden comes alive in the NCAA tournament

MORGANTOWN — In the summer of 2023, Ben Lumsden entered the transfer portal, leaving U.T. Arlington after a season. Lumsden started in 51 games at third base for the Mavericks, and he led the team in home runs with 11. WVU to retire quarterback Pat White’s No. 5

MORGANTOWN — West Virginia athletics announced Friday morning that it will retire former Mountaineers quarterback and current assistant quarterbacks coach Pat White's No. 5 jersey this fall at a home game this season. WVU football lands commitment from 2027 wide receiver

MORGANTOWN — West Virginia football earned another commitment to start the week. Three-star wide receiver and athlete Carter Davis announced on social media that he's committed to the Mountaineers for the class of 2027. Davis is another recruit WVU and Rich Rodriguez stole from other Power Four schools. Strong wind at WVU Super Regional sends 5 people to the hospital

MORGANTOWN (AP) — Five people were taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries sustained when a strong wind tore through an area occupied by fans at the Morgantown Super Regional NCAA baseball tournament game between West Virginia and Cal Poly on Saturday, according to the university.
