MORGANTOWN — West Virginia men’s soccer finally wore down St. Bonaventure to pick up its first win of the season in its home opener Monday night. The No. 23 Mountaineers scored just one goal in the 62nd minute to win 1-0 over the Bonnies, picking up a much-needed bounce-back win. Summer camp is over, and now it’s turned to normal practices and Week 1 game preparation. Rich Rodriguez said the team started focusing on Coastal Carolina a little over two weeks before kickoff.
