NEW MARTINSBURG - The Elkins Little League 9-10 year-old All-Star team wrapped up state tournament play this past weekend. After bowing to West Mon County in its opener on Friday, the Elkins All-Stars were facing an elimination game on Saturday against Greenbrier. Leading 6-5 in the bottom-half of the sixth inning, Greenbrier tallied a two-run inside park home run to rally for a 7-6 victory. MORGANTOWN — Rich Rodriguez and offensive line coach Rick Trickett are starting to beef up West Virginia football's offensive line for the future. The Mountaineers received a commitment from 2027 3-star offensive lineman Tristan Hardin-Roberts, according to his social media. He is now the fourth lineman in the class. MORGANTOWN — "I've got sunshine on a cloudy day" will be heard at Kendrick Family Ballpark once more. Long-time Mountaineer Armani Guzman announced on social media that he'd be returning to play for West Virginia baseball for the 2027 season.
