WVU football moves 2027 Ohio game up to season-opener

MORGANTOWN — West Virginia football changed the date of the home matchup against Ohio, which moved up the start of the 2027 season. The Mountaineers' game against the Bobcats will be played on Aug. 28, 2027, instead of the originally slated Sept. 18, 2027, game, per release. Lady Mountaineers to face Northwestern in Greenbrier Tip-off

MORGANTOWN – West Virginia and Northwestern are set to take part in a premier non-conference matchup as part of the Greenbrier Tip-off on Friday, Nov. 13. The contest will take place at the Greenbrier Resort in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia.
