CHARLESTON - The financials of the health insurance benefit for West Virginia public workers appears to stable heading into the next fiscal year. Members of the Public Employees Insurance Agency (PEIA) Finance Board met Thursday afternoon for its regular meeting, with members attending in person at PEIA's Kanawha City headquarters and virtually. THOMAS – A total of $1.5 million in federal Community Project Funding was presented to the Tucker County Commission this week for the Blackwater Regional Wastewater Treatment Project. CHARLESTON – Several agencies operating locally will receive funding through more than $700,000 in grant announcements this week. Governor Patrick Morrisey announced the $701,410 in grant funding to “strengthen services for victims of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, stalking and human trafficking in rural communities across West Virginia,” according to a press release from Morrisey's office.
