Mary Lou Murphy, 89, a resident of Philippi, passed away Sunday, Dec. 31, 2023, in Mansfield Place of Broaddus Hospital. Mary was born June 3, 1934, in Kanawha County, a daughter of the late Thomas O. and Beulah Blanche (Purkey) Perry. Mary was united in marriage on March 15, 1952, to Darl Edward Murphy, who preceded her in death Oct. 11, 1996.
