November is Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month

In October each year, we are surrounded by pink and pink ribbons for Breast Cancer Awareness. The pink ribbon has brought about increased awareness for breast cancer and early screening. However, there is no early screening for pancreatic cancer. November is Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month and the color is purple. I am writing the Tucker County Commission to defend the Emergency Ambulance Fee (EAF). This fee is crucial to the welfare of the citizens of Tucker County. The funds generated by the EAF, along with other funding sources, have allowed Tucker County EMS (TCEMS) to make great strides forward in the prehospital care of the citizens of Tucker County. As a teacher of civics, an elected official and a member of the LGBTQ community, Mr. (Cody) Thompson was wrong to condemn students protesting a mural at Mill Creek. Mr. Thompson, those students’ rights do not end where yours begin.
