Elkins City Hall News

ELKINS — Happy Halloween! Residential Halloween trick-or-treating hours will be on Friday, Oct. 31, from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Being that Halloween occurs on a Friday night this year, we urge all drivers — and parents — to be extra cautious.

The City of Elkins has upgraded its digital infrastructure with its transition to a .gov domain. Our new online address is now https://cityofelkinswv.gov. Anyone can still email City of Elkins employees and access our website using the .com domain (suffix). The change to a .gov domain provides a more secure environment for the City’s conducting of business with its residents and vendors. Learn more about this change at https://cityofelkinswv.gov/elkins-dot-gov/.

City Hall asks residents to sign up for emergency text alerts. Residents with mobile phones can receive important alerts including weather warnings and water outages. They will also receive reminders about changes to city services due to holidays. Please sign up at https://cityofelkinswv.com/alerts/.
