ELKINS – The Randolph County Board of Education will have an emergency meeting today at 6:30 p.m. for the purpose of hiring an interim superintendent, after accepting Dr. Shawn Dilly’s resignation Friday night.

The agenda for tonight’s emergency meeting calls for “discussion and possible action to appoint Terry George to serve as its Interim Superintendent of Schools…”

The agenda says that, if approved, George will be hired through June 30 “at the same salary and benefits and other terms and conditions as provided to the former superintendent.”
