Stephen ‘Stevie’ Allen Rhodes
Stephen “Stevie” Allen Rhodes, 52, passed from this life Saturday, July 19, 2024, at home. He had been in his usual health and death was unexpected.
Stevie was born, Friday, Jan. 28, 1972, in Elkins, a son of the late Stephen Kenneth Rhodes and Janet Sue Rush Rhodes Dumire.
Left to cherish his memory are two daughters, Autumn and Jessie Rhodes of Elkins; grandchildren, Kaiden, Kinzley and Karter Watson, Jaxson Chenoweth; siblings, Chris Rhodes of Elkins, Stephanie Rhodes of Belington and Lindsay Taylor and husband, Robbie, of Elkins; several nieces and nephews; step-father, Virgil Dumire of Elkins; step-mother, Cheryl Harris of Belington; and step-sisters, Becky and Monica Harris of Belington.
Stevie attended the schools of Randolph County. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and a diehard WVU fan.
Stevie’s request for cremation was honored. A gathering of family and friends will be held at the Randolph Funeral Home Thursday, July 25, 2024, from 5 until 7 p.m.
