Virginia Marie "Ginny" Howell, 90, a resident of Elkins, passed away Saturday, Oct. 10, 2026, in the Davis Medical Center. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 16, 2026, at the Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday from the funeral home chapel with Pastor Roy Schneider officiating. Interment will follow in the Elkins Memorial Gardens on the Country Club Road. She was born Dec. 25, 1935, at Huttonsville, a daughter of the late Samuel W. Swecker and the late Lura Simmons Swecker.
