Arlan Kenneth Skogstad

Mr. Arlan Kenneth Skogstad, 71, a resident of Montrose, Barbour County departed this life Friday morning, Dec. 22, 2023, at his residence. Although he was in declining health, death was unexpected. He was born Feb. 21, 1952, a son of the late Norris Albert and Geraldine Snyder (Gross) Skogstad. Left to cherish his memory are three sons, Alan Skogstad of Beverly, Paul Skogstad and Arlan Skogstad, both of Rhode Island; and one daughter, Cindy Skogstad of Belington. John Adam Arbogast, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away on Dec. 24, 2023, at the age of 80. He was surrounded by his family in his home in Gilman, where he had been under the care of Mountain Hospice due to declining health.
