John H. Elza, 94, a resident of Whitmer where he made his home with his sister, Sandy and Dwyer Judy, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2023 at Mon Health Medical Center in Morgantown, West Virginia. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until noon Sunday, Oct. 29, 2023, at the Whitmer United Methodist Church. A funeral service will be held at noon Sunday from the church with Pastor Steve Wymer officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Hills Memorial Gardens in Canton, Ohio, at a later date.
