Reader wants more balanced commentary

On vacation a few days ago I stayed overnight in Elikins and picked up a copy of the July 6 issue of The InterMountain. As a career-long journalist (Des Moines Register, Miami Herald, founder-publisher Florida Tennis magazine) I was interested in reading the publication. Cavers’ convention deemed a success

As most readers know, the week of June 24-30, over 1,000 individuals from across the U.S. and around the world converged on Randolph County for the National Speleological Society’s nation conference. I would like to thank Davis & Elkins College, Elkins Main Street, the Chamber of Commerce, the Monongahela National Forest, the City and County for helping to plan and host the largest conference to ever come to Elkins. Reader displeased by delegate’s column

The latest homophobic editorial rant by (Delegate Elias) Coop-Gonzalez is completely disingenuous. The person who pulled the stunt on the White House lawn was immediately rejected and banned from ever attending an event there again.
