Confusion over funding allotments

Citizens and taxpayers of Randolph County, Commissioners Chris See, David Kesling and appointed Commissioner Cris Siler, they are supposed to be working for we the taxpayers, looks like they are working against us, and we pay their salary! D&E College $50,000? Mike House $5,000? And the list goes on! New pool and splash pad for a favorite few? Are we hocking the Elks Lodge out? Our tax dollars? Wake up, taxpayers! Importance of a daily newspaper

To subscribers and future subscribers of The Inter-Mountain, I have contemplated this letter for months before writing it. In thinking of the future of our wonderful small city and what the future may hold, our daily newspaper comes to mind. I am concerned whether The Inter-Mountain can remain a daily newspaper. Today we have the governor of Texas bussing illegal migrants to New York City and Washington, D.C. in order to draw attention to the plight of his state. The New York governor has suggested putting them in luxury hotel rooms that are not being used and not reimbursing the hotels. My suggestion is if they want to allow immigrants to cross our borders with no health checks or background checks, and not checking to see if they have the means to support themselves, then let the governors, mayors, senators, representatives and other elected officials give them a room in their mansions, ...
