ELKINS — Two Elkins residents are facing felony charges after a woman was allegedly attacked inside of a Montrose residence.
Savannah Guire, 31, and Carlton Leon Hudson, Jr., 37, are each charged with daytime burglary. Both of their cash-only bonds were set at $35,000 by Randolph County Magistrate Judge Ben Shepler.
According to the criminal complaint filed by Sgt. B.A. Talkington of the West Virginia State Police, on Jan. 15 at approximately 2:20 p.m., the officer responded to a call in reference to a male and female entering a Montrose home and attacking its resident.
The report states that Talkington spoke to the alleged victim upon arrival, who advised him that her husband and his cousin, identified as Hudson, had a sexual encounter with a female; she went on to advise that she called Guire, Hudson’s girlfriend and informed her of the sexual encounter.
According to the complaint, the alleged victim advised that she was in her bathroom shortly after the phone call and was attacked by Guire and Hudson upon entering her living room.

The alleged victim stated that Guire “grabbed her hair,” and Hudson “pushed her to the ground and pinned her down,” adding that Guire continued to punch her in the face, and Hudson kicked her in the face while wearing work boots, the police report states.
“(The alleged victim) told them they were on camera, and they dragged her to the porch,” stated Talkington.
According to the complaint, the alleged victim advised that Hudson took her phone as she was trying to call 911 and left the scene with it.
