Two other West Virginia residents died in weekend fires as well, officials said.

On Friday at about 8 p.m. in Spencer, Roane County, a 67-year-old man died in a fire at his home. Investigators with the West Virginia State Fire Marshal’s Office have ruled the cause of the fire as undetermined but most likely accidental due to an electrical malfunction.

All three victims were sent to the WV Medical Examiner’s Office for autopsy and positive identification.
