Evelyn Mae Fortney, 75, of Valley Head, formerly of White Sulphur Springs, passed away on May 14, 2026, at Ruby Memorial Hospital. She was born July 8, 1950, in Ronceverte and was the daughter of the late Charles and Hazel Donovan Hutchison Jr. Evelyn was a homemaker. She enjoyed embroidery, cross stitch and sewing and made pillows for her family She was an amazing Aunt who selflessly helped to raise many nieces and nephews.
