Theodore M. “Ted” Yokum, 79, of Harman, West Virginia, departed this life on Friday morning, Dec. 8, 2023, at Mountain Memories Assisted Living Center in Elkins, West Virginia. Friends may call from 4 until 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2023, at the Tomblyn Funeral in Elkins. A brief service will be held at the conclusion of the visitation hours with Pastor Bob Yothers officiating. Mr. Yokum’s wish for cremation will be honored and a private burial will be held at a later date at the Yokum family cemetery on Allegheny Mountain near Harman.
