MORGANTOWN — West Virginia quarterback Nicco Marchiol brought the offense to the line with 14 seconds left just outside the end zone. WVU was down a touchdown to rival Pitt in the Backyard Brawl — the last game between the two for a couple of years. Lady Vikings pick up pair of victories

PETERSBURG — The Petersburg girls picked up a pair of home victories over the weekend, cruising past Berkeley Springs, 66-23, on Saturday and taking a 52-38 win over Hampshire on Friday night. Shyane Tawney had 15 points and Ayden Mayfield chipped in 12 in the win over Berkeley Springs. Freshman Katie Risinger led the Lady Indians with 10 points.
