MORGANTOWN — Rich Rodriguez and offensive line coach Rick Trickett are starting to beef up West Virginia football's offensive line for the future. The Mountaineers received a commitment from 2027 3-star offensive lineman Tristan Hardin-Roberts, according to his social media. He is now the fourth lineman in the class. MORGANTOWN — "I've got sunshine on a cloudy day" will be heard at Kendrick Family Ballpark once more. Long-time Mountaineer Armani Guzman announced on social media that he'd be returning to play for West Virginia baseball for the 2027 season. MORGANTOWN — Dawson Montesa and Maxx Yehl beat expectations Saturday, big time. The two WVU pitchers were selected during the first day of the MLB Amateur Draft, Montesa with the 72nd overall selection by the St. Louis Cardinals and Yehl was picked 91st overall by the Kansas City Royals. “Turned down draft opportunity last season.
