Wildcats fall to Sherman in state semifinals
HUNTINGTON — Seventh-seed Pendleton County’s season came to a conclusion in a 3-0 setback to third-seed Wahama Thursday afternoon in Class A state semifinal action at Marshall University’s Jack Cook Field. The Tide (26-8) will face second-seed Gilmer County, which upset top-seed Huntington St. Joseph’s in Thursday’s other semifinal, at 10 a.m. today in the title game.
