ELKINS — Jaelyn Smith and Brooklyn Oldaker hit home runs to lift Lewis County to a 14-8 win over Elkins Tuesday night in Big 10 play at Betty Heckel Field. Smith and Oldaker finished with three RBIs each for the Minutemaids, who scored six runs over the final two innings after holding an 8-7 lead. Latimer brothers reunited to make impact at WVU

MORGANTOWN — Geimere and Amari Latimer played a lot of 1-on-1 basketball growing up. Geimere, who is now a senior at West Virginia, would always beat Amari, who is now a freshman, because he’s four years older. But, as Amari grew up, he got bigger, and Geimere stopped growing.
