CLARKSBURG — Trent Stone had five RBIs to power Elkins to a 23-7 win over Notre Dame on Wednesday. The Tigers erupted for 16 runs in the fifth inning, with Stone hitting a two-run triple, Dyer Barger a two-run triple and an RBI single and Owen Stanley, Isaac Shepler, Caden Kreps, Brady Biller, Braden Cooper and James Linger RBI singles. MORGANTOWN — West Virginia’s offensive line coach, Rick Trickett, had dinner with one of the new young coaches on the staff, who was helping with the corners. The coach was getting chewed out. Trickett went onto YouTube and found a video of his former coaching partner, Nick Saban, coaching corners. Trickett sent it to the coach.
