Clementine’s Cantina holds ribbon cutting event in Elkins

ELKINS — Local residents and visitors to the area now have a new place in downtown Elkins to grab a bite to eat as Clementine’s Cantina held its Grand Opening Thursday morning.
A group of local leaders and community members joined restaurant owner Zackery Watson and his staff for a ribbon-cutting ceremony, which was held before the doors to the business opened for the first time at 11 a.m.
“It is great to finally be opening today and we’re really excited to bring this cantina to Elkins,” Watson said. “I want to thank all of our family, friends and everybody else who has helped us along the way. It’s an exciting day for us.”
Clementine’s Cantina will be open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. On Fridays and Saturdays the restaurant will have extended hours, from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. The restaurant is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Clementine’s Cantina is located at the former Jabberwock location on 122 Davis Avenue. The Cantina offers a variety of fast, fresh food, including customizable burritos, bowls, tacos, salads and nachos. Chicken, steak, ground beef, barbacoa and veggie options are available with 18 different toppings and sauces to choose from. A kids’ menu is also available.
A variety of different soft drinks and domestic and craft beers are also offered at Clementine’s Cantina, which offers a family friendly and fun atmosphere. Each month the restaurant will also be displaying art work created by different local artists.
“The Chamber is just so excited for all the new businesses opening up downtown, particularly today celebrating Clementine’s Cantina,” Elkins-Randolph County Chamber of Commerce Director Lisa Wood said. “The food is delicious here and the artwork inside is amazing. Everyone needs to come down to Clementine’s Cantina and enjoy a fun, fresh meal.”
