Mountaineers earn commitment from 2027 running back

MORGANTOWN — West Virginia football picked up its second commitment for the 2027 class in less than 24 hours. 2027 running back Lee Prince Jr. announced he’s committed to the Mountaineers on social media, becoming the fourth commitment of the class. WVU received a commitment Thursday afternoon from linebacker Mason Cerovac. Prince had multiple Power Four offers, including from Pitt, Oregon, Florida State, UCF and other Division I programs. CHARLESTON — Buckhannon-Upshur’s Jerin Westfall has been named to the Class AAAA all-state first team by vote of the West Virginia Sports Writers Association and released today.
