DUNMORE — No. 7 Pocahontas County pulled away from No. 9 Tygarts Valley, 63-53, in a battle of Class A ranked teams and regional foes Thursday night. The Lady Bulldogs, who saw their six-game win streak end, trailed 51-42 after three quarters but cut the deficit to 55-53 on a basket by Nevaeh Cooper with just over 2 minutes remaining in regulation. The Lady Tigers jumped out to a 21-8 lead after one quarter and took a 30-23 advantage into halftime.
