ELKINS — The Elkins Middle School wrestlers placed fourth at the Mid-Mountain 10 Conference Championships held recently at East Fairmont Middle School.

Individual weight class placements went to Isaac Workman (first place), Trevor George and Scott Twigg (second place), Devin Hulver, Brady Cogar, Kyle Reed and Tucker Twigg (third place) and Zayne McCauley (fourth place).

“I’m so pleased with this year’s team,” said head coach Danny Pennington. “Elkins has been complimented so many times on their performance, and I couldn’t be prouder of these boys.”

The Hornets have gone 10-3 in matches and dominated their first two matches at home against Lincoln Middle School and Robert L. Bland Middle School in early December.

Elkins will head to the Mason Dixon Championships in Kingwood on Feb. 2-3.
