Sam Marks fired in 20 points for the Mountain Lions, who erased a 27-22 halftime deficit by outscoring the Bulldogs, 17-12 in the third and 19-12 in the fourth. Mountain Lions rally for victory over Tigers

HAMBLETON —Class A, No. 6 Tucker County rallied in the fourth quarter to hand Elkins a 47-43 setback on Monday night. The Tigers held a 36-27 lead heading into the final frame, before being outscored, 20-7 in the fourth by the Mountain Lions as Carson Dearborn scored all six of his points on the night in the period, hitting 4-for-4 from the free-throw line. UPPER GLADE — The Tygarts Valley girls picked up a 59-39 win over Webster County on Tuesday night. Sarah Defibaugh fired in 24 points and Kailen Yokum added 10 for the Lady Bulldogs, who are now 8-2 on the season and have won six straight. Arizona fullback transfers to play for Mountaineers

MORGANTOWN — The fullback is back at West Virginia. Arizona fullback Kayden Luke announced on social media that he’s changing Big 12 teams, transferring to the Mountaineers. Luke will be the first fullback listed on WVU’s roster. There have been multiple great fullbacks in the long history of the Mountaineers, but they have slowly been phased out in modern-day football, especially in college.
